According to yoga philosophy, each of us has 5 bodies: physical, energetic, mental, wisdom, and bliss. To experience health and wellness we must feel balanced in all those aspects of who we are. Perhaps the biggest obstacle is not knowing what the body, mind, and spirit need. Join physician and nutritionist, Elizabeth Boham, MD, MS, RD, along with author and Kripalu-certified yoga teacher, Heidi E. Spear for a half day of learning and retreat.
Through lecture, discussion, meditation, guided deep relaxation, and gentle yoga you will learn what to do to create health in your body and tap into your natural healing potential. You will be able to implement dietary and lifestyle changes that can provide an optimal environment in the body so that cancer is less likely to occur. You will become intimately acquainted with your energy body, inner voice of wisdom, and ability to deeply relax and renew.
During this retreat, learn what are the best foods for fighting cancer and how to best support your body for prevention of cancer, during treatment or post cancer treatment. During this session we will discuss how to meditate and de-stress the mind and learn ways to make choices from a place of wisdom and inner guidance as well as and how to connect to bliss, joy, ease, creativity, love, and spaciousness.
This seminar is open to people going through cancer treatment or for people who just want to learn how to provide an optimal environment in the body so that cancer is less likely to occur.
